[Cheonan=Kang Byeong-koo] World-renowned long hitter Bubba Watson has officially arrived at the 68th Kolon Korea Open Golf Championship.

Ahead of the tournament’s opening round, Watson arrived at the venue and made his way from the parking area toward the golf course. Although overnight rain had left the roads and walkways wet, the American star appeared calm and composed as he prepared for the week ahead.

A multiple-time winner on the PGA Tour and one of the most recognizable figures in professional golf, Watson has earned worldwide admiration for his remarkable driving distance and imaginative shot-making ability. His appearance at this year’s Korea Open has generated significant excitement among Korean golf fans.

As Korea’s most prestigious national championship, the Korea Open consistently attracts strong domestic contenders as well as international stars. Watson’s participation adds another compelling storyline to an already highly anticipated championship.

During the tournament’s official photocall event, Watson displayed a relaxed and approachable demeanor. Now, however, his focus has shifted entirely toward competition as he prepares to challenge one of Korea’s most demanding championship venues.

The rain may have left its mark on the course, but it also marked the beginning of a new chapter.

With his first steps taken at Woo Jeong Hills Country Club, attention now turns to what kind of story Bubba Watson will write at the Korea Open and whether the former Masters champion can add another memorable achievement to his distinguished career.
