[THE CAPTURE=Kang Byeong-koo] The Korea Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) has officially signed an agreement with East One Ocean Beach Golf & Resort and SBS Golf to launch a new series of Dream Tour and Champions Tour tournaments.

The signing ceremony for the “KLPGA 2026 East One Ocean Beach Dream Tour and Champions Tour” was held on May 16 at the KLPGA Headquarters in Gangdong-gu, Seoul.

The new partnership will introduce a total of six tournaments during the 2026 season, consisting of three Dream Tour events and three Champions Tour events. The tournaments will be jointly hosted by East One Ocean Beach Golf & Resort and SBS Golf, while the KLPGA will oversee tournament operations.

Each event will offer prize money of KRW 70 million, bringing the combined purse for all six tournaments to KRW 420 million.

The Dream Tour events will be held from July through September, while the Champions Tour events will also take place during the same period. All tournaments are scheduled to be played at Ocean Beach Golf & Resort in Yeongdeok, North Gyeongsang Province.

Cho Jaegwan, Chairman of East One Ocean Beach Golf & Resort, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership.

“It is a great honor to host both the Dream Tour, which serves as a development stage for future stars, and the Champions Tour, which carries a rich history and tradition,” Cho said. “We will do everything possible to provide the best competitive environment for the players.”

SBS Golf CEO Lee Sanggeun also emphasized the company’s commitment to the project.

“We will work hard to ensure the successful operation of these tournaments and contribute to the continued growth of both the Dream Tour and Champions Tour,” Lee said.

KLPGA Chairman Kim Sangyeol welcomed the new partnership and thanked the organizers for their support.

“We sincerely appreciate East One Ocean Beach Golf & Resort and SBS Golf for creating new opportunities for both aspiring professionals on the Dream Tour and former players competing on the Champions Tour,” Kim said. “The KLPGA will provide full support to ensure the success of these events.”

Located along Korea’s East Coast in Yeongdeok, Ocean Beach Golf & Resort is a premier seaside golf destination featuring luxury accommodations and leisure facilities. The resort is also pursuing expansion plans, including new golf courses and upgraded premium amenities, as it seeks to establish itself as a leading leisure hub on the East Coast.
